Marikamba Temple

Marikamba Temple is located in Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. It is dedicated to Goddess Marikamba.

Marikamba Temple, KarnatakaSri Marikamba Temple of Sirsi is a famous Devi shrine situated in northern part of Karnataka. Every alternate several devotees gather at Sirsi to participate in the famous Shri Marikamba Fair or `Marikamba Jaathre`. This Temple houses a huge idol of Devi which is about seven feet tall. It is believed that the temple was built in the year 1688. It is considered to be the biggest idol and temple dedicated to Marikamba in Karnataka.

Beside the Marikamba temple are the temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha and Lord Krishna.
