Description of Mahesh Vilas Palace
Mahesh Vilas Palace is located in 35 acres of Lush Green Lawns, Fountains and Orchards. The palace comprises of luxurious rooms, durbar hall, dinning area and a wide veranda with 60 beautiful Karara marble pillars. The veranda runs un-obstructed around the building. The palace provides for indoor games like Pool Table and Table Tennis. This palace is a fine blend of splendour, space and tranquillity and offers a taste of true Indian royalty - a world away from the hubbub, and madness of urban life for relaxation and revival of peace and harmony. The palace was constructed in the year 1942 in a total area of more than one lakh square feet.

One of the nearby places, which are a tourist attraction, is Lucknow. Bird Sanctuary Samaspur is 70 kms away. And handicrafts that are available in the vicinity are Chikan Embroidery Workshop, Pottery.
