Mahakala Vajra-bhairava Temple is a temple under the Tabo Monastery administration, in Lahul and Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh. The temple enshrines the defensive deity of the Geluk-pa sect. It is curiously also known as `the temple of horror` and can be entered only after performing cautionary meditation. Mahakala Vajra-bhairava Temple can be reached by bus, available from Kaza.
