Kshemaka is the last prince of the race of Puru.

Kshemaka is one of the Aryas who ruled in Indraprastha. Kshemaka is the last prince of the race of Puru who administrated for about fifty years.

The Puru race gave origin to Brahmans and Kshatriyas, and which was purified by regal sages and terminated with Kshemaka in the Kali age.

Vishrava killed his Emperor Kshemaka and became the ruler of Indraprastha.
