Krishna Raja Wodeyar II

Krishna Raja Wodeyar II was the ruler or Maharaja of Mysore who ruled over the territory from the year 1734 to 1766.

Krishna Raja Wodeyar II, also known as Immadi Krishna Raja Wadeyar was the Maharaja of Mysore who ruled from the year 1734 to 1766. He was the official ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore, in southern India. The reign of Krishna Raja Wodeyar II was governed by his commander-in-chief or dalwais. Devaraja Girachuri also had adequate control and served as a regent until Krishna Raja came of age and received full ruling powers. Hyder Ali was considered as the de facto Maharaja of the state of Mysore to all intents and purposes, from the year 1761 to 1782, when he died.

Krishna Raja Wodeyar II was succeeded by Mummadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar and ruled as the Maharaja of the princely state of Mysore from 30th June 1799 to 27th March 1868. Mummadi was also known as Krishna Raja Wodeyar III.
