In order to look after the administration of the city, a municipality has been established. Khairthal"s connectivity with Delhi and Jaipur gives it a major industrial importance in Rajasthan. Higher than the state average of 66.11%, Khairthal has an average literacy rate of 82.56%. The male literacy is higher at a rate of 89.96% than the female which is 74.47%. In Khairthal, 13.6% of the population is under 6 years of age.

The largest religious community in the city are Hindus contributing around 88%, followed by the Muslims and Sikh community, who contribute 6% and 5% of the total population respectively. Since the last census of 2001, population has increased by 19.7% in the last ten years and is continuing to rise.

Commerce in Khairthal
The city of Khairthal is known to have one of the biggest grain markets in Rajasthan. An Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) was established in 1965 but was renovated again in the year 2000. Wheat, pulses, mustard and cotton were the main produce from this agricultural market committee. Khairthal is also famous for its several oil mills.

To catch the attention of the tourists several tourists` spots have developed in this Khairthal city. The chief attraction is the Hanumanji ka Mandir where myriads of people visit the place.
