Gulshan Devaiah, Bollywood ActorGulshan Devaiah is a Bollywood actor, who is known for his works in films like Hate Story, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Hunterrr. He has also worked as a theatre actor. Prior to movies, he was involved with fashion industry for about ten years.

Early Life of Gulshan Devaiah
He was born on 28 May 1978 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India to Sri Devaiah and Pushpalatha. Both his parents were retired as officers in Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), Bengaluru. His parents, who were involved in literature, light music, drama and such other activities, encouraged Gulshan to take art and culture seriously.

Education of Gulshan Devaiah
Gulshan attended Cluny Convent, Bengaluru and St Joseph"s Indian High School, Bengaluru. He did his PU at BEL Pre-University College. He received his Bachelor"s degree in Fashion Design from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru.

Career of Gulshan Devaiah
Owing to his parents" encouragement, he developed an interest in acting at a very early age. During his academic days, he participated in school dramas and skits. He became known as an actor with various groups in Bengaluru`s English theater circuit before moving to Mumbai. He is best remembered for the Harami Theater`s "Butter and Mashed Banana".
Gulshan Devaiah, Bollywood Actor
He made his debut in the silver screen in the year 2010 with the Anurag Kashyap directed movie That Girl in Yellow Boots. The movie featured him in the role of Chittiappa Siddanna Gowda. In the following year, he was seen in the Rohan Sippy directed movie Dum Maro Dum. In the movie, he had a small role as a smooth talking drug peddler `Ricky`. In the same year, he was featured in the Bejoy Nambiar directed movie Shaitan. Here he enacted the role of the eccentric Karan "KC" Chaudhary.

In the year 2012, he worked in two films including Hate Story and Peddlers. In Hate Story, he portrayed the role of Siddharth Dhanrajgir, a rich and arrogant tycoon and in Peddlers he was seen in the role of Ranjit D`Souza. In 2013, he acted as Bhavani in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. The film was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starred Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. In 2015, he worked in the adult comedy film Hunterrr which was written and directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni.

Before stepping into the world of cinema, Gulshan was associated with fashion industry for about ten years. He was also a teacher at Wigan and Leigh College, Bengaluru.
