Governor of Haryana is the constitutional head of the state. The President of India appoints the Governor for a term of 5 years. The powers and functions of a Governor at the state level are similar to those of the President of India at Union level. Dharma Vira was the 1st Governor of Haryana and Satyadev Narayan Arya is the incumbent Governor of Haryana from 2018.

Dharma Vira
Dharma Vira became the 1st Governor of Haryana after getting separated from Punjab. His tenure was from 1st November 1966 to 14th September 1967. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan Award in 1999.
Birendra Narayan Chakraborty
Birendra Narayan Chakraborty was the 2nd Governor of Haryana from 15th September 1967 to 26th March 1976.
Ranjit Singh Narula
Ranjit Singh Narula was the 3rd Governor of Haryana from 27th March 1976 to 13th August 1976. He was a Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
Jaisukh Lal Hathi
Jaisukh Lal Hathi became the 4th Governor of Haryana from 14th August 1976 to 23rd September 1977.
Harcharan Singh Brar
Harcharan Singh Brar was the 5th Governor of Haryana from 24th September 1977 to 9th December 1979. He was also the 13th Chief Minister of Punjab.
S.S. Sandhawalia
S.S. Sandhawalia became the 6th Governor of Haryana from 10th December 1979 to 27th February 1980. He was also a Chief Justice of the Punjab, Haryana and Patna High Court.
Ganpatrao Devji Tapase
Ganpatrao Devji Tapase was the 7th Governor of Haryana from 28th February 1980 to 13th June 1984. He was an Indian independence activist and later a leader of the Indian National Congress.
Saiyid Muzaffar Husain Burney
Saiyid Muzaffar Husain Burney became the 8th Governor of Haryana from 14th June 1984 to 21st February 1988. He also served as the Governor of the states of Tripura, Nagaland and Himachal Pradesh and a Chairman of the National Minorities Commission.
Hara Anand Barari
Hara Anand Barari was the 9th Governor of Haryana from 22nd February 1988 to 6th February 1990. He was an Indian Intelligence Bureau officer.
Dhanik Lal Mandal
Dhanik Lal Mandal became the 9th Governor of Haryana from 7th February 1990 to 13th June 1995.
Mahabir Prasad
Mahabir Prasad was the 10th Governor of Haryana from 14th June 1995 to 18th June 2000. He was the Union Cabinet Minister of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries.
Babu Parmanand
Babu Parmanand became the 11th Governor of Haryana from 19th June 2000 to 1st July 2004. He was the speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in 1980.
Om Prakash Verma
Om Prakash Verma was the 12th Governor of Haryana from 2nd July 2004 to 7th July 2004.
Akhlaqur Rahman Kidwai
Akhlaqur Rahman Kidwai became the 13th Governor of Haryana from 7th July 2004 to 27th July 2009. He was Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2011 for his contribution towards Public Affairs.
Jagannath Pahadia
Jagannath Pahadia was the 14th Governor of Haryana from 27th July 2009 to 26th July 2014. He belonged to Indian National Congress party. He was also the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Kaptan Singh Solanki
Kaptan Singh Solanki became the 15th Governor of Haryana from 27th July 2014 to 25th August 2018. He belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
