Ghorawal is a town in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.

It is situated 36 km towards west from district head quarters Robertsganj. It is located between 24.77 degree North latitude and 82.78 degree East longitude at an average elevation of 303 metres (994 feet) above mean sea level.

According to the 2001 census report, Ghorawal has a small population of 6478 inhabitants. Males constitute 54% and females constitute 46% of the population. In Ghorawal, 18% of the population is less than six years of age.
