There are also some cottages at this place but these resorts, hotels and cottages have no electricity. These lodges are equipped with decent amenities but they have no electricity. The powers are supplied to them from generators.

One of the unique features of Gahunbari is that it can be visited throughout the year. The nearest railway station is situated at New Jalpaiguri. The nearest airport is situated at Bagdogra. After reaching the railhead or airport, one can hire bus or car service to reach the Gahunbari. By road, Gahunbari is situated 101 km from the Siliguri.
