Fort Louis, also known as Fort Saint Louis, was a French fort located in Puducherry. The fort was built around 1701 by Francois Martin and was completed in 1706. The fort was destroyed by the British in 1761.

History of Fort Louis
Fort Louis was constructed around the year 1709. It was constructed on the French plan with a pentagonal shape. It has five bastions and a couple of gates with chambers to store arms, ammunitions and other commodities.
