The Dwarkadhish Temple is one of the most important temples of not only Uttar Pradesh, but the whole of India.

History of Temple and God
This temple was established in the year 1814, and is situated in the heart of the city of Mathura. The treasurer of the estate of Gwalior, Seth Gokul Das Parikh built the temple. It is entirely dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Temple Architecture
The Dwarkadhish Temple exhibits an excellent work of art. Images of Lord Krishna, his beloved Radha, and other Hindu deities are exhibited in the interior of the temple. Elements of local art and aesthetics enrich the architecture of the temple. Major attractions of the temple include carving and paintings.

How to reach and Accommodation
Cab, autos and rickshaws are available for people to reach the museum. There is no special accommodation for the visitors. Self-arrangements shall have to be done for the purpose of accommodation.
