Devi Dehra Temple is a highly venerated shrine located in a forested gallery, about 15km from Dalhousie in Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh. The temple is consecrated to Goddess Jalapa Mata. Factually the words `Devi` and `Dehra` stand for `Goddess` and `temple` respectively. The Devi Dehra fair, widely known in throughout the country, is celebrated here with majestic brilliance. The Devi Dehra Rock Garden and waterfalls are situated closeby. The Devi temple is blessed to be situated in the charming hill station of Dalhousie, a place with footfall of more than a lakh every month. The nearest railway station is Pathankot.
