Deepak Tijori, Bollywood ActorDeepak Tijori is an Indian film actor and director, who is primarily active in the Hindi film industry. He began his Bollywood career with a small role in the movie Krodh. He has been more prominent in the roles of supporting actors during early 1990s. He has starred in several superhit films including Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Baadshah, Aashiqui and others. Deepak Tijori was born on 28th August 1961 in Mumbai. Apart from acting, he has also directed a few films.

Career of Deepak Tijori Deepak Tijori started his film career as an actor in Bollywood with the 1990 movie Krodh in which he portrayed a supporting actor. His next venture was Aashiqui in which he once again essayed a minor role. In the following year, 1991, he continued with small roles in films like Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and Sadak. In the year 1992 Deepak Tijori got his first major role in Abbas Mustan"s suspense thriller Khiladi in which he played one of the four protagonists alongside Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Jhulka and Sabeeha. In the movie he portrayed the role of Boney opposite Sabeeha. His next significant role was in the superhit Bollywood flick Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in which he acted alongside Aamir Khan. Tijori played his first negative role in the film. He was the main antagonist who was a successful cyclist and used to win the Inter-School Championship every year. Tijori also starred in the Bollywood flicks Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and Anjaam. In the year 1993, he featured in his first and only lead role in Pehla Nasha. The movie however failed at the box office. He also starred in Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao in 2004.

Deepak Tijori made his directional debut in the year 2003 with the film Oops! He also wrote and produced the film. Subsequently he directed the movie Fareb starring sisters Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty. Deepak Tijori was a part of Bigg Boss (Season 1) in which he arrived as a replacement for Salil Ankola. Tijori entered the show on the 14th day after Salil Ankola was ordered by the Mumbai High Court to leave the house or face criminal charges as per the previously signed agreement to refrain from participating or acting in television shows made by other production houses that directly or indirectly compete with Balaji Telefilms.
