India Today: It is a weekly news magazine primarily published in Hindi and English language. India Today is in publication since 1975. This magazine was established by Vidya Vilas Purie owner of Thompson Press, with his daughter (Madhu Trehan) and son (Aroon Purie) as its editor and publisher respectively. The demand of this magazine is so huge that presently it is published in other Indian languages as well like Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Frontline: Frontline is a current affairs magazine published by the Hindu group of publication. This magazine covers domestic as well as International news focusing on varied topics like political, arts, books, movie, and science to name a few. It is popular for its serious coverage of issues and analytical writing. Frontline won many awards for its contribution in the field of current affairs and journalism.

Tehelka: Tehelka which means "sensational" in Hindi is an Indian weekly magazine known for its high quality journalism. The publication kick started in 2000 as a news website which was founded by Tarun Tejpal along with Bahal. The website eventually turned into a magazine from the year 2007. It is noted for sting operations. Tehelka grabbed the International Press Institute (IPI) India Award for Excellence in Journalism in 2010 and 2011.

Outlook: Outlook is an edifying and in-depth analytical current affairs magazine published in India. It was first issued in October, 1995 with Vinod Mehta as the Editor in Chief. This independent weekly magazine features issues related to politics, sports, cinema etc.

The Week: It is a weekly news English magazine published by the Malayala Manorama Co. Ltd. As per the Audit Bureau of Circulations, The Week is the largest selling English newsmagazine in India.

Open: Open is a weekly magazine launched on 2nd April 2009 in 12 Indian cities. This current affairs magazine was founded by Sandipan Deb, former executive editor of Outlook and editor of Financial Express.

Pratiyogita Darpan: Pratiyogita Darpan is an Indian bi-lingual magazine which deals with current affairs and general knowledge. This magazine is widely preferred by students who opt for competitive exams.
