Chaumukhjee Jinalaya

Chaumukhjee Jinalaya is located in Girnar in Junagadh district in Gujarat. Chaumukhjee Jinalaya presently comprises of Lord Neminath in the north, Sri Chandraprabhaswami in the south, Sri Suparshwanath in the east and Sri Munisubhrataswami in the west. It was established in 1511 B.C. by Jinharshsuri Maharaj. This Jinalaya is also popularly known as Sri Shyamla Parshwanath. The reason behind this is quite uncertain but it is believed that several years ago Sri Shyamla Parshwanath resided here. Inside Chaumukhjee Jinalaya there are almost 24 statues carved on each of the pillars of the temple. All together there are 96 statues carved inside the temple. This Jinalaya is also known as "Chauriwala Jinalaya" as its thickness is almost like four pillars.

Devotes can proceed towards the holy land of Sri Neminath upon climbing 30 to 50 steps on the left of Chaumukhi Jinalaya. One can also visit a place named Gaumukhiganga on the right side upon climbing 14-20 steps.
