Brahmi is a terrific deity who is propitiated by offerings wine and flesh. Goddess Brahmi is depicted as seated on a swan which is her vehicle. She has a golden complexion and the two hands hold Kamandalam and rosary and a flag with the picture of a swan on it. The other hands are gestured in the mudras of Abhayamudra and Varatha Karam which signify protection and granting of desires respectively.
