Botany Department of Punjab University has a museum of its own. It is located at Chandigarh.
This museum was established in the year 1947 with a view to provide practical knowledge to the student. The museum exhibits numerous rare specimens of plants. These plant materials were collected from different parts of country and abroad. The museum is open on all days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m except on Sundays.
