Ballabgarh Fort is a historical palace of Raja Nahar Singh located at Ballabgarh in Faridabad district of Haryana. This fort is declared as a Heritage site in Haryana. The fort is also known as "Raja Nahar Singh Palace". The Ballabgarh Fort stands as an outstanding specimen of architectural design.

The Ballabgarh Fort was built in the 17th century. This fortress is wonderfully built in sandstone and the style of architecture used, is the Shekhawati style. Raja Balram was the ruling king and initiated the construction commencement of the fort, which lasted from 1702 to 1754. Though the earliest parts of the palace were built by Raja Balram, but the palace was named after the Raja Nahar Singh, who gave up his life in the Sepoy Mutiny that happened in 1857.
Ballabgarh Fort was renovated several times, once by Raja Nahar Singh itself and for that over 50 well skilled artisans was imported to Haryana from Rajasthan.

There were several excavations in the vicinity of the Ballabgarh Fort, like ancient pottery sites and ruins of the Harappan civilization. The fort houses one of the most splendid paintings of the ancient times. The fort had a "Darbar-E-Aam" and a "Rang Mahal", which were decorated with a beautiful Chhatri visible even today.
Present Condition of Ballabgarh Fort
Now the Ballabgarh Fort has been taken over by the Haryana Tourism and converted into a heritage motel-cum-restaurant in 2003. The palace is beautified with antiques, relics of a bygone past, stone jallies and intricately carved arches. The facilities here include six beautifully decorated guest rooms, restaurant and period style courtyard, gardens and pavilions. The palace and its surroundings is also used by the producers of teleserials. The palace is the venue of exhibitions, musical nights, fairs, etc.
