The Bahadurgarh Fort is an ancient historical structure in the city of Patiala.

Bahadurgarh Fort, PatialaThe historical fort of Bahadurgarh was built in 1658 CE by Nawab Saif Khan. The fort was later resurrected by Sidhu Jat ruler Maharaja Karam Singh of the state of Patiala in 1837. Built in honour of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the Bahadurgarh Fort spreads over an area of 21 sq. km and is in a circular shape surrounded by two ramparts and a moat. Religious buildings comprising the tomb of Saif Khan, Saif Khan`s mosque and gurudwara Sahib Patshai Nauvin also exist within the fort.
