Reddy made her debut in the tinsel town in the year 1998 with the Hindi film Bandhan. In 1999, she made a special appearance in the song Ishq Bina in Taal. In the following years she appeared in a number of movies of different languages like Nuvvu Nenu (Telugu), Samurai (Tamil), Varushamellam Vasantham (Tamil), Sreeram (Telugu), Thotti Gang (Telugu), Premalo Pavani Kalyan (Telugu), Santosha (Kannada), Silsiilay (Hindi), Gandugali Kumara Rama (Kannada), Just Married (Hindi), Huduga Hudugi (Kannada), Ragini MMS 2 (Hindi), Yaaran Da Katchup Simrat (Punjabi) etc.

However, it was her Hindi Thriller film Kucch To Hai (2003) which garnered her recognition. The movie featured her in a negative role. Her acting was also recognized in the Horror film Krishna Cottage (2004) and Koi Aap Sa (2005). Among south Indian films, it was her Telugu venture Nuvvu Nenu (2001) which brought her into limelight. Nuvvu Nenu was a hit movie and later it was remade with the name Yeh Dil in Hindi with Tusshar Kapoor.

She made her debut on the television screen with Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii in 2001. Her next television show was Kavyanjali. In the serial she played the protagonist Anjali, a middle class girl marrying into a business tycoon`s family. After these two successful ventures, she went on to work in a number of shows like Kayamath, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kya Dill Mein Hai, Kasamh Se, Teri Meri Love Stories, Gutur Gu (Season 2), Ye Hai Mohabbatein, MTV Fanaah etc.
