Agra Volunteer Rifles
Agra Volunteer Rifles was an auxiliary infantry regiment. It was formed on 9th August 1878 by the British Empire in India and the headquarters was located in Agra.
The headquarters of the auxiliary regiment was located in Agra. The troops wore khaki drill uniforms in summer and khaki serge uniforms during winter. In 1901 the detached companies of Agra Volunteer Rifles were stationed to different bases at Muttra, Mainpuri, Etah, Fatehgarh and Etawah.
