Afghan Church is a tourist site of Mumbai located in Navy Nagar at Colaba region. This church is a Presbyterian church which was built in the memory of those soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the consecutive Afghan wars fought during British Empire in India. This church is constructed with available limestone and Basalt. It is mainly known for the huge gothic arches that decorate the church from inside along with beautiful stained glass windows. This church contains a nave aisle with a channel that is 50ft in length and 27ft in width. The floor of the church is decorated with the tiles that were imported from England and are placed in a geometric structure which gives an altogether new look to the church. Along with this the church includes some attractive stained glass windows which were designed exclusively by the then stain glass expert William Wailes. The church further includes eight large bells which are placed in the bell tower of the church.

Afghan Church in Mumbai has been accepted as one of the grade one heritage structures of Mumbai by the Government of India. This raised nearly a fund of thirty lakhs for the restoration of the church. As of today the church remains active by conducting few weekly masses mainly attended by the local people.
