Eksara is a census town in the Howrah district in the eastern state of India, West Bengal.
As per the 2001 census report, Eksara had a small population of 6485 inhabitants. Males constitute 52% of the population and females constitute 48% of the population. In Eksara, 13% of the population is less than six years of age. Eksara has an average literacy rate of 66%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate of the town is 68% while the female literacy rate is 64%.
