84th Indian Infantry Brigade

84th Indian Infantry Brigade remained in active service from May 1942 to October 1943. It was formed in Hyderabad in May 1942 under British Government of India.

The British Indian infantry formation of the 84th Indian Infantry Brigade remained in active service from May 1942 to October 1943. The brigade was formed in Hyderabad in May 1942 under British Government of India during the outbreak of the Second World War. It was initially known as the Upper Sind Force.

The brigade was originally raised to subdue a revolt by the Hurs in the Sindh Desert. The troops later operated under the administrative control of the North Western Army. The 84th Indian Infantry Brigade was eventually dissolved in October 1943.

• 7th Jammu and Kashmir Infantry (November 1942 - February 1943)
