Salota Fort is located in the Baglan region of Nashik District in Maharashtra close to the Salher Fort. The fort was constructed to provide protection from the enemy. No other history is known about the fort. There are three doors in a line which lead to the main part of the fort. There are two rock-cut water cisterns inside the fort.

Nashik Airport and Baglan Railway Station are the nearest to reach the fort. National highway 53 connects Nashik to other major parts of the country.
