Sakshi Maggo is an Indian model and actress, who has made her foray into movies with the 2015 Bollywood film "Welcome Back". She started her career as a model and eventually became the face of renowned brands.
Early Life and Education of Sakshi Maggo
Sakshi Maggo was born on January 9, 1992 in Delhi, India. She completed her schooling from SKV School, Delhi and later pursued graduation in Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) from Delhi University. She has begun modelling at the age of 16 years, and successfully became the face of renowned brands like Myntra.com, Bindals and RC Cola. She later realized that the domain did not have much scope for her. She moved to Mumbai, switching over to become a Bollywood actress.
Film Career of Sakshi Maggo
Sakshi Maggo had auditioned for the 2013 Hindi musical blockbuster "Aashiqui 2", for the female lead which was eventually portrayed by Shraddha Kapoor. She later bagged a cameo appearance in Firoz A. Nadiadwala"s Hindi action comedy "Welcome Back", the sequel to the 2007 hit comedy film "Welcome", directed by Anees Bazmee. Sakshi thus made her debut with "Welcome Back", released in September 2015, alongside an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Paresh Rawal, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah. She featured in a special appearance, as Sheetal in the song "20-20" in the film.
Personal Life of Sakshi Maggo
Sakshi Maggo"s hobbies include dancing and music. Her parents live in Subhash Nagar, Delhi.
