Rajeev Singh is an Indian model and actor, who was born on 28th December 1974, in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He was the winner of Gladrags Super Model 2000 contest. In 2001, he was also the winner of Manhunt International pageant held in Beijing, China. He was the first Asian model to win the Manhunt International contest. He was one of the models who participated in The Lakme India Fashion Show 2002 for a host of Indian fashion designers including Ritu Kumar, Tarun Tahiliani, Aki Narula, Rohit Bal, Rocky S, J J Vallaya and Monisha Bajaj. He has also been featured in a Greek music video.
Career of Rajeev Singh
Rajeev was India’s first Mr. World and has modelled in many countries. After having modelled in many countries post winning Gladrags, he wanted to pursue acting. So in 2005, he shifted base to Los Angeles where he did a course in acting and film making at the New York Film Academy. Later, he was part of plays organized by Victory Theater and Beverly Hills Play House.
He has appeared in several ads like Clinic All Clear, Liril, Close-up, Limca, London Pilsner, Vivaldi Shirts and Moustach Jeans. He made his Bollywood acting debut in the year 2005 with the film "Khamoshh...Khauff Ki Raat". The movie was directed by former Bollywood actor Deepak Tijori. Recently, he was seen in a popular Hindi TV serial "Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya" on Zee TV.
