![]() Early Life of Hasleen Kaur Hasleen Kaur was born on November 10, 1988 in West Bengal to Sarabjit Singh who was an Army Officer and Ikwinder Singh is a homemaker. Hasleen Kaur was raised in Delhi. She did her graduation in English from Jesus and Mary College, and later received a degree in Mass Communication from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. Career of Hasleen Kaur Hasleen Kaur started her career as a model and did several commercial advertisements with famous brands. She has walked the ramp for all leading fashion designers of India. She has worked as an Elite Model of India and appeared in ‘Elite Fashion Calendar 2011’. Hasleen participated in ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss India Pageant’ in 2011 where she became the first runner-up. She also took part in the ‘Femina Miss India Earth 2011’ and won the title. Bollywood Career of Hasleen Kaur Hasleen Kaur has appeared in Imtiaz Ali’s Bollywood film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ in which she played a minor role along with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in 2009. Later, she was offered the lead role in the movie ‘Chanda’, but she refused to do the role, as she was concentrating on her studies. Hasleen Kaur appeared in her first lead role in the romantic movie ‘Karle Pyar Karle’ directed by Rajesh Pandey in 2014. In the movie, she starred as “Preet” with Shiv Darshan and Aham Sharma but her appearance was highly criticized for shooting in several open scenes. Social Work of Hasleen Kaur Hasleen Kaur has become a part of ‘Nav Jyoti’, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) headed by Dr. Kiran Bedi, dedicated to dealing with Environmental issues. She was seen in its different campaigns including participating in Wild Parade at Bengaluru, which dealt with spreading the word for environment. She is also involved in a number of fund raising events for the said NGO for its different projects for rural areas. |
