Andhra Pradesh State Archaeology Museum
Andhra Pradesh State Archaeology Museum, which is also known as Hyderabad Museum is located in Hyderabad, which is now the capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It is the oldest museum in Hyderabad state. Archaeologist Henry Cousens first explored the site in the beginning of the 19th century, and around 1940 the mound was excavated under the supervision of Nizams of Hyderabad. The excavated items were placed in a museum built on the ancient site. In the year 1952, the contents of Andhra Pradesh State Archaeology Museum were moved to the current building, under the administrative control of Archaeological Survey of India.
B. M. Birla Science Museum
B. M. Birla Science Museum is an Indian science museum located in Hyderabad, which is now the capital of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. B. M. Birla Science Museum is constructed by civil engineer Mr. P. A. Singaravelu. This museum comprises of a planetarium, museum, science centre, art gallery as well as a dinosaurium. The museum itself was the second phase of the science centre when it opened in the year 1990.

Salar Jung Museum
Salar Jung Museum is an art museum located at Darushifa, on the southern bank of the Musi River in the city of Hyderabad, which is now the capital of the newly formed state Telangana. Salar Jung Museum is one of the three National Museums of India. Salar Jung Museum has a collection of sculptures, paintings, carvings, textiles, manuscripts, ceramics, metallic artefacts, carpets, clocks, and furniture from Japan, China, Burma, Nepal, India, Persia, Egypt, Europe, and North America. The collection of this medieval and modern museum was sourced from the property of the royal Salar Jung family.
