Early Life of Nikhil Chinapa Nikhil Chinapa was born on 6 June 1973 in Bengaluru. His father worked in Indian Army Paratrooper and was once transferred to Secunderabad. There he studied in Faust and for a few months in Begumpet’s Hyderabad Public School. Later he studied at St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School, Bengaluru. Nikhil Chinapa has also lived in Agra and has attended St. George’s College where he studied architecture. Career of Nikhil Chinapa Nikhil Chinapa attended the MTV’s VJ hunt in the year 1997. It was the first time when MTV conducted such a worldwide talent hunt. He has hosted a number of popular shows for MTV India including MTV Roadies and MTV Splitsvilla. He has also co-hosted two seasons of the show India’s Got Talent along with Ayushmann Khurrana which was aired on Colors channel. He has also acted in a few Bollywood flicks. Nikhil Chinapa owns a music company titled Submerge Music which arranges gigs in the country by international DJs. The company aims at bringing the international DJs on a common platform in India. It also promotes upcoming DJs as well as events at different clubs in metro cities. Nikhil Chinapa has played a crucial role in bringing international DJs such as Tiesto, Hardwell, Zedd, Armin Van Buuren, Deniz Koyu, Alesso and Swedish House Mafia to Sunburn Festival in Goa. He also hosted a weekly radio show titled ‘Together’, commonly known as TGTR, on Saturday nights which features both new and commercial tracks along with guest mixes.
