64th Indian Infantry Brigade

The 64th Indian Infantry Brigade was a former armed infantry formation that operated under the British Indian Army during the Second World War. The brigade remained in active service from 1942 to 1945. It was raised at Babina in Jhansi district under the British Empire in India in February 1942. The armed force was initially allotted to the 23rd Indian Infantry Division.

Later the 64th Indian Infantry Brigade was attached with the 19th Indian Infantry Division in March 1942. It took part in a number of British battles and campaigns and also fought in the Burma Champaign. The troops functioned under the command of the 19th Infantry Division till the culmination of World War II.
