62nd Indian Infantry Brigade

62nd Indian Infantry Brigade was attached to the 19th Indian Infantry Division after it was formed in November 1943. It remained in existence till the year 1945.

The British Indian infantry formation of the 62nd Indian Infantry Brigade was formed in November 1943 under the British Government of India during the outbreak of World War II. The military force remained in existence till the year 1945. After the brigade was formed, it was attached to the 19th Indian Infantry Division. The brigade was stationed in Burma and took part in the Burma Campaign in the South East Asian Theatre of World War II. The 62nd Indian Infantry Brigade operated under the 19th Indian Infantry Division until the culmination of the war.

* 3/6th Rajputana Rifles (September 1943 to August 1945)
* 2nd Royal Berkshire Regiment (July 1945 to August 1945)
* 1st Assam Regiment (January 1945 to February 1945)
