Darap Cherry Village is a small village located in Sikkim. The village is nestled on the top of a hill and is 6 kilometers from Pelling on the way to Yuksom. The village is inhabited by people from Limboo Community. A small number of families from various communities like Bhutias, Chettris, Tamangs, Rais, Gurungs and Lepchas also reside here. The village is 7 kilometers from Pelling and is well connected to various other tourist spots in Sikkim. Situated in the midst of greenery and tranquil environment the village serves an attractive tourist spot. Presently Darap is becoming as a popular home stay destination. The village has schools, health centre, library, computer learning centre, community meeting place, shops and nice eating outlets. The landscape of the village is moderately sloppy and gentle valley. The village looks magnificent and appealing when bough wheat farms bear flowers and harvest takes place.
