Sadni falls is located at a distance of 3 kilometers from Rajadera village in Gumla district in Jharkhand. This 200 ft (60 meters) scarp falls is formed from the Sankh River. This snake type waterfall is considered to be one of the most popular picnic spots in Jharkhand. The falls is surrounded by hillocks, streams and forests which enhance the scenic beauty of the falls. The falls is located at an elevation of 934 meters. Sadni falls attracts a large number of tourists with its scenic beauty.
History of Sadni Falls
During 16th and 17th century, some active diamond mines dwelled at the Sadni falls. The mines used to produce exquisite diamond stones. The mines are inactive in current days.
