or International Indian Film Academy Awards is an annual ceremony where awards are presented by the International Indian Film Academy for commemorating the technical and artistic eminence of the film professionals belonging to the Hindi film industry. The event is important for promoting the Indian cinema
at international level. The award ceremony was introduced in the year 2000 and since then is held at different places all over the world every year. It is a three day celebration in which awards are conferred under different categories for appreciating the works of film professionals in varied cinematic fields.
