Shishunaga also known as Sisunaka was the founder of a Shishunaga dynasty. The Shishunaga dynasty consists of ten emperors. He was the ruler of the Magadha in 684 BC. The Shishunaga dynasty was one of the largest empires of the Indian subcontinent. He relinquished Benaras to his son and established himself at Girivraja in Behar, where he is said to have reigned forty years.
The lists of the rulers of Shishunaga dynasty are Kakavarna, Kshemadharman, Kshatraujas, Bimbisara, Ajatashatru, Darshaka, Udayin, Nandivardhana and Mahanandin.
