Kalayavana in the Indian mythology is said to be the son of Gargya. His complexion was very dark; he was as black as a bee and thus named Kalayavana.
Kalayavana was king of the Yavanas. He assembled a large army of Mlechchas and barbarians and advanced impatiently towards Mathura, the place of theYadavas.
lured Kalayavana into the cave of the mighty Muchukunda, who being disturbed from sleep by a kick from Kalayavana, cast a fiery glance upon him and reduced him to ashes.
