According to the Hindu mythology, Nirmali is a cult of Vaishnavas who devote all the time to the one purpose of keeping themselves clean.
The superstition believe of people of the Nirmali group are that they bath several times a day. They wash their hands one hundred and eight times daily. Although the Nirmalis do not detach themselves from their families but they abstain from touching even their children as they should be tainted.
They do not harm any type of animal or kill them. The women along with the men can belong to the Nirmali sect.
