Khottiga Amoghavarsha
Khottiga was a ruler of the Rashtrakuta Empire. During his period, the Rashtrakuta Empire started to decline. Paramara King Siyaka II invaded the Rashtrakuta territory and devastated Manyakheta. He was succeeded by Karka II who ruled only for a few months.

The decline in the Rashtrakuta empire set in. The Paramara King Siyaka II ransacked Manyakheta and Khottiga passed away skirmishing them. The Jain inscription of Mahapurana written by Pushpadanta supports the fact. Karka ascended him to the throne.
