C Shaped buildings are constructed usually as utility buildings. These public utility buildings can be theaters, hospitals, schools, colleges or government offices. However owing to their shape not all the corners of these plots will be useful. Hence the owners of such plots must be aware about the auspicious directions and the purpose in which these can be used.
According to the basic principles of Vastu Shastra it is favourable to construct building by leaving open space at the North side. This will lead to the economic progress of the family. Also if the East side of the building is left open then too it is considered auspicious. Vastu Shastra spells out that the East side of a plot should always be left open. It helps in generating positive energy.
It is not favourable to keep the West side open while constructing the C shaped building. Many kinds of problems can arise except for the residents in the southern side. Similarly the South corner of the buildings should not be left open. According to Vastu Shastra it may lead to negative effects, such as, loss of money and reputation.
