Gurdwara Guru Nanak Dev is one of the prominent religious destinations in Jammu and Kashmir. This historical Gurdwara has been built to mark the visit of Guru Nanak Sahib. It is situated near the historic Mubarak Mandi Complex of Dogra rulers near Chowk Chabootra, Jammu. It is said that Guru Sahib while returning to Punjab via Kashmir, had rested here. Statue of Guru Nanak Devji
In this small Gurdwara, there is a three feet marbled statue of Guru Nanak Devji installed by Rajput Raja Maharaja Partap Singh. The idol is made out of pure gold. The giant structure of Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Devji stands tall amidst the picturesque landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. The statue adds to the old glory and grandeur of the region. During the Singh Sabha Movement when statues were removed from Gurdwaras, this statue got unnoticed, in the process remaining intact. Very few people though know about this statue.

The architecture of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Dev is also amazing. It reminds one about the artistic skills of the ancient times. The designs bear relics to the rich religious ancestry and historical legacy of the state. The natural calamities and disturbances in the political and social scenario of Jammu and Kashmir have not affected this ancient Gurdwara. All these factors make this ancient temple one of the important religious sites of the Jammu and Kashmir pilgrim tourism.
