![]() Early Life of Raju Ananthaswamy Raju Ananthaswamy was the illustrious son of legendary vocalist Late Mysore Ananthaswamy. Raju Ananthaswamy's initial training in tabla and vocal music began at his tender age of 4 years. He possessed such kind of talent that he had self-taught guitar, mandolin, harmonium and keyboard. From a very early age, he had started accompanying his father. He had also established his own music troupe in India. Raju Ananthaswamy had accomplished at several prestigious gatherings like, Hampi Utsava SAARC Summit Cultural Evening, Vasanta Habba, All India Lawyers Meet, Dasara Utsava, International Trade Fair in Delhi, Berkely Film Awards and many more. Career of Raju Ananthaswamy in AIR Acknowledging his talent All India Radio and Doordarshan absorbed him as a high-grade artiste. He on a regular basis performed on AIR. For Doordashan, CITI cable, Zee TV and Uday TV, Raju Ananthaswamy had also compiled many background and signature tunes. Through his renderings he had always attempted to convey social messages. Raju Ananthaswamy was also involved in the direction of a musical serial of 60 episodes and had written the script and scored music to his credit for this musical serial. On ETV, by the viewers, his song "naanu vottare" from the movie Rishi was voted as the best song of the year.
