The very popular model turned actor Bikram Saluja shot to fame on winning the Graviera Man of the Year in 1994. He was once a fine tennis player with national level potential but destiny had something else in store for him after he won Grasim Mr. India.

Early Career of Bikram Saluja
Soon after Bikram Saluja became a very popular face on the ramp he began his modelling career. He worked for almost all the top-class Indian fashion designers. Saluja then went to do some music videos including that of Bali Brahmbhatt`s chartbuster song `Tere Bin Jeena Nahin` with another popular ramp face and a known Bollywood actress Anupama Varma. After that Bikram Saluja managed to carve out a special niche for himself in the hearts of the theatre audiences by meting out brilliant performances in plays like Vasavadatta, Kiski Biwi Kiska Shohar and Karmbhumi. Thereafter he moved ahead to prepare himself for establishing a firm footage in the Bollywood film industry.

Film Career of Bikram Saluja
Bikram Saluja began his Bollywood journey with the movie Fiza, along with Hrithik Roshan and Karishma Kapoor. In Fiza he played the role of the love interest of Karishma Kapoor who could not manage to see beyond his obsession for her. Though the film did not do too well in the box office he went on to earn many acclaims for his splendid performance. Saluja was also seen in another moderately hit Bollywood flick `Plan` along with Sanjay Dutt, Dino Morea and Sanjay Suri. The movie was directed by the renowned filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and the multi-starrer J. P. Dutta`s LOC Kargil as Captain Sanjeev Jamwal.

Bikram Saluja was also seen in a brief role in Madhur Bhandarkar`s Bollywood chartbuster Page 3 in 2005. In this flick he essayed the character of a big time actor Rohit Kumar who takes advantage of an aspiring actress played by Tara Sharma. Next Saluja starred in the remake of Umrao Jaan with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. He also acted in the multi starrer movie Just Married.
