The Raja Raja Cholan Museum at Thanjavur in the state of Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1984. It is an archaeological museum exactly located in the Palace Complex.
The objects that are in store of the museum are stone sculptures, replica of Brihadeshwer temple, terracotta, bronze, pooja lamps, palm leaf manuscripts, copper plates and coins.
People who are interested to view the museum have to come between 9am to 6pm except on National Holidays.
