Orissa has a glorious past and cultural heritage. To preserve different art forms, which represent the culture of the state, a number of Museums were established. Among those Museums, District Museum of Bargarh deserves special mention. It is located near college road at Bargarh, Orissa. This Museum displays different types of Stone sculptures, coins, one sword, tribal jewellery, terracotta, and toys. District Museum, Bargarh is also the treasure house of looms, textiles, palm-leaf manuscripts and musical instruments.
