10th Indian Motor Brigade

10th Indian Motor Brigade was a military formation of the British Indian Army. It was formed in March 1942 and took part in several military campaigns during World War II.

The 10th Indian Motor Brigade was a military formation of the British Indian Army. It remained in service from 1942 to 1943 and took part in several military campaigns during the Second World War. The brigade was formed in March 1942 and was initially stationed in Egypt. Later in September 1942, the troops were sent to Persia. In July 1943, the brigade was re-structured and designated as the 60th Indian Infantry Brigade.

The 10th Indian Motor Brigade served under the administrative authority of 3 different higher British formations, throughout its active service. These included the Tenth Army, the 51st Highland Division and the 10th Armoured Division.
