Gheora is a census town in northwest Delhi district like other towns in the state of Delhi.

Gheora had a small population of 5920 inhabitants according to the 2001 census report. Males and females account for 59% and 41% of the population respectively. In Ghatanji, 13% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of this town is 74% and it is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 75% and the female literacy rate is 61%.
