The very popular model-turned actor Bikram Saluja shot to fame with the Hrithik Roshan and Karishma Kapoot starrer `Fiza`. Though the film did not do too well in the box office he went on to earn many acclaims for his splendid performance. He was also seen in another moderately hit Bollywood flick `Plan` made by the renowned filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and the multi-starrer `Loc`. Prior to joining the Bollywood bandwagon he came to the arc light when he won the Graviera Man of the Year 1994.
Soon after he became a very popular face on the ramp and had modeled for almost all the top-class Indian fashion designers. He then went to do some music videos including that of Bali Brahmbhatt`s `Tere Bin Jeena Nahin` with another popular ramp face and a known Bollywood actress Anupama Verma. Following that he appeared in the music video of the great Indian singing sensation Asha Bhosle, `Parde Mein Rehne Do`. After that he managed to carve out a special niche for himself in the hearts of the theater audiences by meting out brilliant performances in plays like `Vasavadatta`, `Kiski Biwi Kiska Shohar` and `Karmbhumi`. Then he moved ahead to prepare himself for establishing a firm footage in the Bollywood Film Industry.
In `Fiza` he was starring opposite the Bollywood beauty Karishma Kapoor. He was playing the love-interst of Karishma Kapoor who could not manage to see beyond his obsession for her. After appearing in `Loc` and `Plan` he was also seen in a brief role in Madhur Bhandarkar`s Bollwyood chartbuster `Page 3`. In this flick he essayed the character of a non-chalant industry actor. On the personal front however Bikram Saluja is very happy with way his career has shaped over the considerable span of time. He likes to surf the Internet and is known to be quite net-savvy. He is not a net-junkie but likes to be online whenever he manages to have spare time. He also carries his laptop to his set so that he can catch up with some good DVDs when he is not shooting. He is also keen about downloading music online, which he has not tried before. This exceptionally talented actor has a lot more in store for his huge fan following and is expected to rock the whole nation with his forthcoming releases.
