Zee Cine Awards presents awards under different categories in recognition to the contributions of Bollywood professionals in different cinematic fields.

14th Zee Cine Awards
14th Zee Cine Awards was organized on 8th February 2014 in Mumbai and was aired on 23rd February on multiple channels. The event commemorated the best films of the previous year, 2013. It was co-anchored by Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan. Over years many Bollywood actors have proved their talents by showcasing remarkable performances in comic roles and the films of 2013 also featured some of the brilliant comedians posing a tough competition among them. The nominations for 2014 Zee Cine Awards for Best Comedian included Ali Zafar for Chashme Baddoor, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub for Raanjhanaa, Rishi Kapoor for Shuddh Desi Romance, Riteish Deshmukh for Grand Masti , Varun Sharma for Fukrey and Vivek Oberoi for Grand Masti. In the event Varun Sharma walked away with the award.

Varun Sharma is a Bollywood actor who marked his appreciable presence in the film industry through his debut venture Fukrey. His appealing performance and excellent comic timing in the movie was applauded by masses and critics.
